• “When given the opportunity to free yourself from discomfort, a whole new perspective comes to life.”
    ~ Emma Simpson

Just imagine waking up in the morning without pain or muscle tension, fluidly moving into your day, and full of natural energy.

For most of us, this truly is just a daydream.

But what if being stress and pain-free could be a reality?

I’ve always had a long-standing fascination with posture and how it affects our body and mind – this was one of the reasons I was drawn to study Structural Integration (SI).

It was at the beginning of doing my Remedial Massage diploma that I became especially intrigued by SI after purchasing the Anatomy Trains book written by Rolfer® Thomas Myers. Since completing my Remedial Massage Diploma, I’ve continued my studies with some of the best educators in the industry.

Hi, I’m Emma Simpson ~ Certified Structural Integration Practitioner,
Remedial Massage Therapist & Yoga Teacher

I’ve been a practitioner of yoga for over twenty years and have been running a successful remedial massage therapy clinic for over a decade in Sydney’s Inner West.

I’m a Board Certified (CBSI) Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) Practitioner, Remedial Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher and an active member of both the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and the International Association of Structural Integrators.

So, you know you’re in the best of care!

Is your body not moving as well as it could? Here’s how I can help YOU…

Listen, I get it – body pain. Chronic, unrelenting pain throughout your body – and stiffness, and cranky joints. I’ve personally experienced this, so I know firsthand what it’s like.  Discovering bodywork and yoga made a huge difference so much so I wanted to help others who experienced pain and discomfort to feel the many benefits of bodywork and functional movement.

I am also highly trained in remedial and sports massage, with specialised training in KMI Structural Bodywork, deep tissue massage, dry needling, myofascial release and corrective exercise.

Through a combination of advanced techniques, my deep passion for bringing a holistic approach to your wellbeing comes from the pure joy of seeing the healing power that therapeutic massage, structural bodywork, and yoga therapy can offer you.

When we work together, you can expect to experience some (or all!) of the following:

  • Reduction in chronic pain
  • Realignment of posture
  • Ease of movement in muscles and joints
  • Improved self-awareness
  • All of which can greatly improve your body’s functional potential

For many clients, this work has provided relief from years of chronic tension, acute injuries, as well as emotional stress. Relieving the body from this long-standing pain and discomfort can have profoundly positive effects on day-to-day stress, allowing for more energy and emotional clarity.

I want this to be a reality for you – and not just a daydream!

What people are saying about working with me

“Recently I completed a KMI structural bodywork 3-session series with Emma. Having struggled with ‘tightness’ all my life and a feeling that my body was wrapped in ropes, the effects of this treatment were amazing.

I was able to move in ways in which I’d previously felt restricted, taking bigger steps when I walked, trusting my dodgy knees to work better, being able to stand a little straighter, to open my shoulders and move them back a bit, releasing pain from parts that were stuck and resistant to stretching.

I feel like a dolphin released from a net or a bird released from a cage. Nothing has helped me like this before…”

“Last year I suffered a massive stroke which left my left-hand side paralysed. After many visits with Emma who provides a therapeutic and remedial treatment, I have no doubt the treatments have contributed greatly to my continued improvement.

Emma’s professional, personalised care and understanding of patient’s needs and [individual] requirements make it a joy to attend each appointment. I highly recommend her to everybody and anybody for treatment.”
